The first annual AIMRx Community Health Care Clinic was a success! In collaboration with the Stockton Tzu Chi Foundation, approximately 85 patients were screened and able to receive services at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 16th. Pharmacy students from University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences volunteered at a variety of screening stations and educational booths. This was a unique experience for TJL students to collaborate with the Tzu Chi Foundation at a health clinic where Eastern and Western forms of medicine were being offered as well as an array of dental services. The AIMRx Committee would like to thank all of the volunteers for their hard work and the Tzu Chi Foundation for their efforts. We are looking forward to future events and services to the Stockton community.
